PEKANBARU (RP) – Progres pembangunan Jembatan Siak III yang ditargetkan selesai di awal Mei 2011 terkendala hal teknis.

Kepala Bidang Bina Marga Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Provinsi Riau Ahmad Ismail kepada Riau Pos, Selasa (19/4) mengatakan, pihaknya terus menggesa pelaksanaan pembangunan Jembatan Siak III.
‘’Ya memang kita masih menemukan beberapa kendala di lapangan. Namun kita sudah mencarikan solusinya. Sehingga proses pengerjaan masih berjalan seperti yang direncanakan,’’ ujar Ahmad.
Saat ditanyakan mengenai rencana penyelesaian hal tersebut, dia mengatakan pihaknya belum dapat memastikan secara detail. Sebab dalam proses pengerjaan infrastruktur jembatan ada beberapa hal teknis yang dapat mempengaruhi proses penyelesaian. Namun dia optimis penyelesaian dapat diselesaikan dalam waktu dekat ini.
‘’Ya memang sebelumnya kita menargetkan pertengahan Mei, jembatan yang diharapkan dapat mendukung optimalisasi pelayanan jasa transportasi darat kepada masyarakat Kota Pekanbaru sudah dapat diresmikan. Dengan kondisi ini, kemungkinan terjadi pergeseran waktu hingga akhir Mei atau awal Juni,’’ tuturnya.
Menurutnya, waktu yang diberikan sudah mempertimbangkan beberapa faktor teknis yang masih dapat menghambat dalam proses finalisasi. ‘’Selain pergeseran, proses pembuatan beton dan pondasi pendukung juga memerlukan waktu yang cukup panjang. Sehingga proses finalisasi tidak bisa dilaksanakan secara tergesa-gesa. Agar hasilnya dapat lebih optimal,’’ imbuhnya.
