Kombinasi warna bus yang terdiri dari warna kuning dan biru melambangkan warna khas melayu yang menjadi warna kebanggaan masyarakat riau. Sistem transportasi ini direncanakanakan untuk menambah terus armada yang ada agar bisa melayani mobilitas masyarakat kota dan terus dipersiapkan untuk transportasi massal di event PON 2012 nanti dimana Riau akan menjadi tuan rumah penyelengaraannya.
Diharapkan dengan adanya transportasi massal seperti ini bisa mengurangi kemacetan dan polusi udara.
